HACObond® is a pure, thermally bound insulating nonwoven made of 100% recyclable polyester fibres. It is manufactured with volumetric weights of between 15 and 40 kg/m³ and is between 20 and 200 mm thick.

can be made soft and flexible, or firm and inherently rigid
has excellent acoustic characteristics and high sound absorption values
has above-average thermal insulation properties
absorbs hardly any moisture (less than 1 percent)
meets the requirements of the building materials approval DIN 4102-1 Building Material Class B1
is odourless, allergy-friendly and certified to OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 class 1 (22.0.01297 & 94.0.5710 Hohenstein HTTI)
has very low emissions, therefore no adverse impact on health in indoor spaces and is certified with the German eco-label "Blue Angel"
